Meet Glen Childs

Glen Childs is the CEO of A2B Moving and Storage and brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the moving and storage industry.

His career began in an unconventional way. As a young musician in his 20s living in Roanoke, Virginia, Glen worked at a retail music store that specialized in piano sales. The store handled its own deliveries, and over the course of several years, Glen participated in hundreds of piano moves. That experience sparked an idea.
He launched his own piano moving company with a single truck and a commitment to precision. Over time, that small operation grew into a full-service moving and storage company built on expertise, reliability, and attention to detail.

In 2012, Glen relocated to the DMV Metro area to expand into a larger market. There, he began building A2B Moving and Storage into the thriving company it is today. His philosophy has remained consistent throughout his career: apply the same level of care, planning, and technical skill required to move a $100,000 concert grand piano to every item on every move.
